Bollywood actress, Nushratt Bharuccha gained widespread recognition for her role in the romantic comedy, ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama’ in 2011. For those who are unaware, the actress was caught in Israel amid the happening war between Palestine and Israel. Nushratt went to Israel in order to attend the Haifa International Film Festival when Israel got into a conflict with Palestine. The actress finally arrived safely in Mumbai on October 8, 2023. Recently, Nushratt’s video surrounded and being mobbed by her fans at the airport is going increasingly viral on social media.
Nushratt Bharuccha safely returns to India amid the Israel-Palestine war
For the unversed, Nushratt had gone to Israel to attend the HAIFA film awards event. The actress’ fans and well-wishers were left anxious after hearing the news of her situation in the war. On October 8, 2023, as Nushratt Bhauccha landed in India, several media people mobbed her as she was facing difficulty in making her exit. The actress was heard saying:
“Please mujhe jaane do (please let me leave). Mai ghar aa gayi hu, mujhe ghar pahuchna hai.” The actress looked seemingly distressed. The team who accompanied her helped the actress to make her exit from the airport.

As soon as the video circulated online, fans were quick to sympathize with Nushratt Bharuccha. Reacting to the video, one user wrote, “She seems traumatized. Let her breath and be with her family (sic).”

When Nushratt Bharuccha got trapped in the Israel-Palestine War
Bollywood diva, Nushratt Bharuccha attended the HAIFA festival for her latest movie, ‘Akeli’. It was then that the disputes started between Israel and Palestine. Earlier, Nushratt’s inside team member informed that the actress had been stuck in Israel due to the war. In his words:
“The last time that I managed to get in touch with her was around 12.30 pm earlier today, when she was safe in a basement. For safety measures, further details cannot be disclosed. However, since then, we have not been able to connect. We are trying to get Nushrratt back safely to India and hope she returns in the best of health and unharmed.”
