On October 1, 2023, Parineeti Chopra took to Instagram and shared a slew of photos from her non-traditional rituals in preparation for her wedding to Raghav Chadha. The photos provided a sneak peek into the fun-filled sports activities she and Raghav had planned for their loved ones. The images included glimpses of the then-bride and groom, as well as ‘Team Chopra’ and ‘Team Chadha’ in their respective customised attires. From lemon and spoon races to musical chairs, dance-offs, and a cricket match between the two families, the pre-wedding ritual was truly unique.

For the event, Parineeti looked stunning in an orange top, denim pants, cool shades and trainers. She kept her hair in a simple ponytail to keep her look simple. Raghav, on the other hand, looked sharp in a blue tee with a black tee underneath and denim trousers. The couple was seen having a romantic time together during the pre-wedding ritual.
Sharing the photos, Parineeti wrote, “Time to spill the beans on our not-so-traditional rituals, to kickstart our traditional Indian wedding!”
The actress continued, “Musical Chairs: A high-stakes dance-off where everyone cheats.” Lemon & Spoon Race: All those years of school sports did not prepare you for this Three-Legged Race: Bruises are unavoidable, but the bonds you form are priceless. Cricket: Keep an eye out for cricket legends in the family (especially your mother-in-law, who will change the game with a wicket on the final ball and win the game).”
“It’s not about winning or losing,” she added. It’s all about the amazing moments, the cheers, the laughter, and, most importantly, the bonds formed. Our Chadha-Chopra War was an epic battle in which both sides triumphed and hearts were thoroughly conquered.”
Raghav, on the other hand, shared some photos and videos from the pre-wedding festivities. “”Our pre-wedding rituals,” which included musical chairs and a lemon-soup race, along with three-legged races and cricket, were truly enjoyable,” he wrote.
While the Chadhas did not win these games, we did win the Chopras’ hearts, particularly Pari’s, who has become the most adored member of our family. Of course, some of us got battle wounds!”

On September 24, Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra married AAP leader Raghav Chadha in Udaipur.
