One of the most eagerly awaited films of 2024, ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule,’ is scheduled to release on August 15th, 2024. The film stars Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead roles. Now, the makers unveiled a ‘200 days to go’ poster today on digital platforms.

The film’s production is in full swing, and the makers are leaving no stone unturned to ensure it becomes the biggest film of 2024. The anticipation surrounding this film never ceased to be a constantly discussed topic in both trade and audience discussions, securing its position at the top of the charts for the most anticipated film of the year for over 15 months.
The hype around the film is unprecedented. After the record-breaking success of ‘Pushpa: The Rise’ in 2021, National Award-winning icon Allu Arjun will be returning to rule in this sequel. Versatile actor Fahadh Fasil also plays a pivotal role in the film.
Pushpa: The Rise – Part 1 was written and directed by Sukumar. Released in 2021, the film turned out to be a blockbuster. The action drama dealt with red sandalwood smuggling. Last year, Allu Arjun also won the Best Actor National Award for her performance in the movie.
As per a source close to the entertainment portal PinkVilla, the shooting of the film will wrap by May. The source shared, “Sukumar and Allu Arjun are committed to wrapping up shooting for Pushpa 2 by the end of May 2024. Around 100 days of shooting still remain, and the team will be shooting continuously over the next 5 months before calling it a wrap. Sukumar has his own pattern of shooting and editing the film, as all the stuff that’s written is shot and directly taken on the edit table. Ones who work with Sukumar know his style of working, and the ace filmmaker is shooting for the film as planned.”
