1- Rajkummar Rao was the one who suggested the title ‘Stree’. When the story was being narrated to him by Raj & DK the title was ‘O Stree Kal Aana.’ Rajkummar came up with the title as it was the first word that came to his mind.
2- Rajkumar Rao learned tailoring for his role. A tailor would come regularly for 20 days to train him.
3- It is based on the Indian urban legend, Nale Ba, about a witch who knocks on people’s doors at night.
4- Shraddha Kapoor’s character has no name in the film.
5- Bhopal was chosen to shoot Stree due to its mysterious stories, where locals helped them by informing and ensuring the crew’s safety from such incidents.
6- Stree 2 has a budget of only Rs 50 crore. In 2018 Stree movie made Rs 180 crore profit and the film budget was only Rs 20 crore.
