Rakul Preet Singh, last seen in the rom-com film Mere Husband Ki Biwi, has always been vocal about her opinion. The actress has been in the limelight for her no-filter interviews. Recently, the actress made her appearance on the podcast of Raj Shamani to share her thoughts with her fans. When asked about Shah Rukh Khan, Rakul Preet’s priceless reaction was an event of the love she has for King Khan. The actress opened up about the quality of Shah Rukh Khan that she has always been rooting for.
Sharing her opinion about Shah Rukh Khan’s stardom and why the world loves him, she said, “He is amazing! I’m a huge fan of Shah Rukh, sir. And look at the way he talks, I just admire his sense of humour, that humility he has, Matlab he is amazing.” She further talked about the ways that have worked for him over the years, saying, “Of course, the films she had and the legacy he has created with those films, jo ki ap bin achi films or success ke nahi create kar sakte.”
Rakul Preet further explained the huge role movies like DDLJ have played in Shah Rukh Khan’s career. She revealed, “DDLJ har generation ke liye cult hai, and he has had many cult films like DDLJ.” The actress admitted that beyond everything, Shah Rukh Khan’s story of coming from outside, doing everything on his own and his family guy image has resonated with many fans. She added, “The chivalrous man he is, and Duniya sab dekhti hai. I don’t know another man who will walk you to the door and open it. I have heard that he would just drop you off at the car and still talk to you.”
She later denied that people misunderstood his self-confidence as arrogance. Rakul admitted that SRK can make anyone feel like they are the most important people on earth just by talking to them for a few seconds.
On the work front, Rakul is gearing up for her upcoming film, De De Pyaar De 2, where she will reprise her role opposite Ajay Devgn. Meanwhile, actor R. Madhavan is reportedly playing her father in the movie. She will also be seen in a comedy film with Neena Gupta titled Ameeri.
