The Karan Johar-helmed film bags a decent Rs18.75 crore nett on Sunday.

It’s been a mixed opening weekend for the Karan Johar directorial Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani [2023].
They much hyped Dharma Production film has bagged Rs45.90 crore nett in its opening weekend at the domestic box office.
After opening to a rather average Rs11,10 cr on its first day, collections did improve to Ra16.05 cr nett on Saturday and Ra18.05 cr nett on Sunday, respectively.
The numbers are decent but given the film’s reported budget (Rs180 cr), largely positive reviews, and some 50,000 free tickets, Dharma would have hoped for the numbers to be a bit higher.
Starring Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, the romantic-comedy has released across 3200 plus screens in India.
Meanwhile preceding week’s Hollywood release Oppenheimer is close to reaching Rs100 crore . The film bagged an impressive Rs7.5 crore nett on its second Sunday to reach Rs93 crore nett in its India business so far. The Christopher Nolan helmed film is released across 1900 screens in India.
