Abhay Verma, known for Munjya, and Shanaya Kapoor have begun filming their upcoming project in Goa. The yet-to-be-titled film is directed by Shujaat Saudagar, best known for Rock On 2.
On Wednesday, the director took to his Instagram stories, and shared a BTS picture from the set.
The image captures a team member holding a clapperboard, marking the details of the ongoing shot. This film marks Shanaya Kapoor’s third project, following the completion of Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan and Tu Yaa Main.
Meanwhile, Abhay Verma recently featured in the music video Pehla Nasha 2.0, which he described as a tribute to Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan. The video, starring Abhay and Pragati Nagpal, beautifully encapsulates the essence of first love while paying homage to Aamir Khan’s 1992 classic Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar.
Reflecting on the song, Abhay Verma shared, “Pehla Nasha is more than just a song for me; it has been a love language. This is my way of paying tribute to my idol, Aamir Sir. Recreating what these legends crafted, with responsibility and respect, has been an absolute honor. I feel incredibly fortunate to be the face of this tribute.”
Pragati Nagpal, the singer and featured artist in the music video, whose refreshing voice brings a new dimension to the timeless classic originally sung by Udit Narayan and Sadhna Sargam, echoed similar sentiments.
“The melodies of the nostalgic ’90s still live on in our memories. Singing for Pehla Nasha 2.0 felt like stepping back into that magical era. I had an amazing time recording this melody and performing alongside Abhay, who shares my deep love for vintage hits,” she said.
