Maha Shivaratri was celebrated across the country on February 26, with devotees gathering to worship Lord Shiva and seek blessings for happiness and prosperity. Bollywood celebrities also observed the occasion with great enthusiasm. On the auspicious occasion, Anil Kapoor and his wife, Sunita Kapoor, hosted a puja at their residence and invited several well-known industry faces. Among the attendees, Shilpa Shetty was spotted arriving at Anil Kapoor’s home last night to join the festivities with friends and colleagues.
Once again, Shilpa Shetty dressed in a pink and orange ethnic outfit, made heads turn as soon as she arrived. Keeping it elegant, she ditched heavy designs and jewellery and opted for a minimal glam look. She completed her look with a small orange sling bag.
Earlier in the day, Shilpa Shetty performed rituals at home and shared a glimpse of her celebrations in a video on social media. In the clip, she was seen worshipping a small Shivling and chanting mantras with devotion. For the morning puja, she opted for a simple yet elegant yellow suit, keeping the festivities intimate. Sharing her joy with fans, she captioned the post, “Har Har Mahadev… Happy Shivratri,” spreading positivity on this auspicious occasion.
Shilpa Shetty always ensures that festivals are celebrated with her family. Earlier this year, she marked Lohri in a traditional manner, sharing a heartwarming video of the celebrations with her husband, Raj Kundra, their son Viaan, daughter Samisha, and mother Sunanda Shetty. The family gathered around the bonfire, offering prayers and making traditional offerings. While Shilpa guided Viaan through the rituals, Raj was seen helping little Samisha. Dressed in traditional attire, they soaked in the festive spirit, dancing together in a vibrant ambience.
“Happpyyyyy Lohri ! May this festive season ignite new hopes, dreams, and opportunities in your life and all the negativity perish in this bonfire .May this special day fill our hearts with joy and gratitude,” wrote Shilpa along with the video.
Shilpa Shetty was last seen in Rohit Shetty’s action thriller series Indian Police Force, where she portrayed the role of Tara Shetty alongside Sidharth Malhotra and Vivek Oberoi. Up next, she is set to feature in the Kannada film KD – The Devil, sharing the screen with Dhruva Sarja and Sanjay Dutt.
