Sikandar has a low opening weekend –

Sikandar box office collection:

Sikandar scored a low opening weekend, as expected, and the Wednesday figures will now determine whether it is heading towards the 125 crore nett mark or not. It collected approximately 72 crore nett in the opening weekend, which, needless to say, is a low number for a Salman Khan film during a festival. The worldwide figures have reached the 125 crore gross mark.

Nothing much can be said at the moment, but it seems that the film will hit the 100 crore nett club; however, that won’t be enough to make it a success. The drop on Monday will confirm the estimates about its final total, as there are no films releasing this Friday until Jaat on April 10th.

Sikandar opening weekend collections:

Sikandar opened with Rs. 25 crore nett on Sunday and was affected by the Pre-Eid effect. Not to forget, it was a Sunday release and had a Gudi Padwa boost that should have helped the film among Hindu audiences. The last Eid saw Bade Miyan Chote Miyan and Maidaan scoring low numbers because Muslim audiences did not come in large numbers. This Eid, Muslim audiences turned out on Monday and Tuesday, but Hindu audiences were lower. It collected Rs. 27 crore nett on Monday and then added Rs. 20 crore nett today, taking its weekend total to Rsm 72 crore nett.

Sikandar

Sikandar, directed by AR Murugadoss, stars Salman Khan in the titular role, along with Rashmika Mandanna, Kajal Aggarwal, Sathyaraj, Anjini Dhawan, and Sharman Joshi. The film has a budget of Rs. 270 crore and needs to reach the Rs. 225 crore nett mark for break-even. In the best case, it should reach the 120 crore nett mark, it will be better than Salman’s last Eid release, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan (2023).
