Swatantrya Veer Savarkar Box Office Collection Day 5: Stays Steady, Has A Minimal Drop
Swatantrya Veer Savarkar was quite steady on Tuesday, as 1.07 crore came in. The film saw hardly any drop when compared to Friday, when it had opened at 1.10 crore. That’s good because, at least amongst the niche multiplex audiences, the film is finding some traction. Yes, there was a BOGO offer as well on Tuesday, which means occupancy was even better than on Friday and perhaps even similar to that on Monday.
The good part is that the 1 crore mark has also been breached, and that’s always a good psychological advantage. The challenge would be to manage that today as well since there is no offer. Moreover, the Holi holiday effect is also wearing off, due to which Wednesday would be more of a regular day. In such a scenario, a bit of a drop at least is inevitable. However, if the film Swatantrya Veer Savarkar still manages to go past the 1 crore mark again today, then that would be good.
The film will cross 10 crores though today since it has already reached 9.32 crores. At the bare minimum, 70 lakhs will come in today and that would be good enough to help the film get into a double-digit score. That said, these are just minor steps because, from a bigger-picture perspective, the Randeep Hooda starrer needs to keep playing on for the next few weeks as well in order to get a substantial lifetime.
