Personally, I lost interest in many places but there were some scenes that got me hooked. The supporting cast, including Manoj Pahwa, Kumud Mishra and more, has played their part well. Keeping all the weak points aside, The Great Indian Family will make you think. While it opens to a slow start, it blends romance, spirituality, family dynamics and social conflict all in one narrative.

While the film seems to be a cliché commentary on Hindu-Muslim relations, it is much more than that. At its heart, The Great Indian Family showcases the unbreakable bond that Indian families share between each other, especially during times of crisis.
