The Night Manager actor frequently flaunts his sculpted physique, and while it may appear that he is always in peak physical shape, Aditya recently admitted that there are days when he feels unattractive. While compliments about his physique are pleasant, he admits that he is often critical of himself.
Aditya On Being Self-Conscious About His Physique And Appearance.
Aditya Roy Kapur told ETimes that while he appears fit all the time, that isn’t the case. He admitted to being critical of himself at times and having self-doubts like everyone else. While the dashing actor appears to be in good shape all of the time, the reality is otherwise.
Aditya stated that he has moments of self-doubt and is harsh on himself. He mentions having days when he doesn’t feel good about himself and thinks he’s unattractive.
So it’s all about perspective, right? I’m just like everyone else. I have days when I don’t feel good about myself or think I’m unattractive. “I don’t always have a six-pack!” he explained. Aditya also stated that he is continuously feeling the need to shed weight.
Aditya stated that there is always pressure to look well as an actor. However, he stated that if a character requires him to appear overweight or to not have a chiselled body, he is perfectly fine with it. He mentioned a few films he’s worked on that didn’t focus on his physical characteristics, like Kalank, Ludo, Daawat-E-Ishq, and others. “I will get bored looking at a certain type all the time,” he said.
Aditya Reveals The Kind Of Compliments He Appreciates.
Aditya Roy Kapur was asked about the type of compliment he enjoys and prefers to offer to others at one of his media appearances. The actor stated that it is always pleasant to be complemented on someone’s traits, and that if someone is informed that they are a positive impact on someone else or offer happiness to others, he feels it is nice and enjoys it more than compliments on his appearance.
