Trisha was seen casting her vote in Chennai as part of the Lok Sabha Elections 2024.
Trisha made her way to a polling booth in Chennai on Friday to cast her vote. Videos have surfaced online showing the actress voting in the Lok Sabha Elections 2024. The Ponniyin Selvan star, dressed in a yellow kurta, was spotting in a voting booth. After she voted, Trisha posed for the cameras. She smiled for the media and showed off her inked finger.
The Tamil actress won everyone over with her sweet gesture at the polling booth. In a video shared by PTI, a few polling booth staff members approached the actress for a picture. Trisha sweetly obliged and posed for a few pictures with them. Watch the video below:
Tamil Nadu went into polling in the first of the seven-phase Lok Sabha elections on Friday. The result of the high-stakes battle between the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK), Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) will be declared on June 4.
Earlier in the day, Kamal Haasan, Rajinikanth, Vijay Sethupathi, Dhanush, Ajith Kumar, Ilayaraja, Sarath Kumar, Radhika Sarath Kumar and Sivakarthikeyan were also seen casting their votes in Chennai.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Trisha is rumoured to be starring in Allu Arjun’s next film. Atlee is set to collaborate with Pushpa actor Allu Arjun for his upcoming project. Reports state that Trisha will have a significant part in the movie. Although there hasn’t been an official confirmation yet, movie analysts are already abuzz with the possibility.
It is also reported that Trisha is currently busy with the upcoming Tamil-language action thriller film Vidaa Muyarchi. It is directed by Magizh Thirumen and also stars Ajith Kumar, Arjun Sarja, Regina Cassandra, and Arav in the lead roles.
