Indian actress Twinkle Khanna recently completed her Master’s Degree course in Fiction Writing. The actress-turned-author enrolled herself at the Goldsmiths, University of London. Her husband and actor Akshay Kumar was extremely ecstatic after hearing Twinkle’s achievement. Sharing the update about her educational achievement, Twinkle Khanna jokingly took a dig at her friend, Karan Johar. The actress expressed that Karan had cast the wrong people in his film, ‘Student Of The Year’. For the unversed, the film was released in the year 2012 which starred Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra in the lead roles.

Taking to her IG handle on October 28, 2023, Twinkle Khanna shared an update regarding her recent academic achievement. Her note mentioned that she had received an exceptional distinction for her final dissertation. She has also been honored with the Pat Kavanagh Prize. Furthermore, she jokingly said that her friend Karan Johar had cast wrong people in ‘Student Of The Year’. Her caption can be read as:
“A big moment, and at first, I was hesitant about sharing it. But it goes to show that age is truly just a number and doesn’t hinder you from achieving your goals. I received an exceptional distinction for my final dissertation, which has now also been longlisted for the Pat Kavanagh Prize by Goldsmiths, University of London. May I add that perhaps my old friend cast the wrong people in ‘Student of the Year.’ :).”

Additionally, Twinkle posted a letter which listed that her portfolio has been shortlisted for the prestigious award. The award is given each year for an excellent work from the Goldsmiths MA in Creative and Life Writing Programme.
