Underwhelming! Needs 106% Surge To Enter Top 5 Pre-Sales Of 2025

Sikandar is the next big box office affair in Bollywood. Salman Khan has collaborated with AR Murugadoss and Rashmika Mandanna for a masala entertainer. Unfortunately, the pre-release hype is dwindling, leading to an underwhelming advance booking. Check out the pre-sales 24 hours before the big release!

Only 48% growth

As per the latest update as of 10 AM, Sikandar has registered advance booking of 6 crores gross (excluding blocked seats). It has witnessed a surge of 48% in the last 24 hours, but that’s hardly any growth for a Salman Khan film. Tomorrow is the big release, and it should have ideally crossed or reached close to Chhaava (13.85 crores gross), but even the 10 crore mark is questionable at this point.

Around 1.92 lakh tickets have been sold across the nation. Maharashtra and Delhi are the best-performing states. Gujarat, West Bengal, Karnataka, Telangana, and Rajasthan have the probability of clocking ticket sales worth 50 lakhs each ahead of the theatrical release.

Promotional offers

As per the latest reports, Sikandar makers have begun some promotional offers on District (by Zomato), along with several other digital apps. Even PVR INOX is reportedly providing a BOGO offer along with 25% on food. Hopefully, this strategy will help increase sales during the last crucial hours.

Sikandar vs highest pre-sales of 2025

In order to make it to the top 5, Salman Khan starrer will have to throw Sankranthiki Vasthunam out of the top 5. Take a look at the highest pre-sales of 2025 in India below:

1. Game Changer: 31.80 crores
2. Vidaamuyarchi: 18.40 crores
3. L2 Empuraan: 18.15 crores
4. Chhaava: 13.85 crores
5. Sankranthiki Vasthunam: 12.40 crores

But Sikandar will have to witness the growth of 106.67% to achieve that feat. That is indeed a challenging task, but hopefully, Salman Khan fans will showcase their magic. Fingers crossed!
