Earlier today, Vijay, Vikram, Suriya and Rajinikanth also visited their respective polling booths to cast their votes.
Tamil actor Vishal cast his vote on Friday for the Lok Sabha elections 2024. The actor took to his X (formerly known as Twitter) handle to share a picture from the polling booth. He was seen flaunting the ink on his finger, the hallmark of Indian elections. Vishal urged his fans to go out and vote as he mentioned “every vote counts”.
“Yes, it’s D day. #Friday19th. #ElectionDay. #TimeToVote. I have done my bit and voted and the ink on my left finger makes me feel proud that I have done my bit and not missed even one election since I got the power to choose the right candidate. Requesting one and all to go and vote. Pls don’t think that your one vote will not make any difference. If u don’t. It does. Every vote counts. So, let’s make the voting percentage reach the highest this time. God Bless,” Vishal wrote.

Vishal is known for films like Sandakozhi, Enemy, and the recent one, Mark Antony. Last year, reports of Vishal starting his own political party also made headlines. However, the actor later dismissed all such reports with a statement.
“I am forever indebted to the people of Tamil Nadu who recognised me as an actor and social worker in the society. With the aim of helping people as much as I can, from the beginning, I thought that my fan club should not be treated as an average club, but it should be run to benefit people. We have been running the fan club with the aim of doing our best for those who are in need,” the actor said in a statement.
“The next step is to create a people’s welfare movement and work district-wise, constituency-wise and branch-wise. Through the ‘Devi Foundation’ run in the name of my mother, we help many poor and needy students every year. We are also helping affected farmers. I meet people in many places where I go for shooting and listen to their basic needs and grievances and fulfill their demands through my people’s welfare movement. I have never expected political gains while indulging in welfare activities. If nature demands, then I will not hesitate to speak for the people in future,” he added.
