Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt has proved her acting prowess multiple times on screen. She has also garnered a genuine fan base. But with fame comes criticism. It would not be wrong to say that although Alia is the most sought-after actress from the current generation, she is also the easiest target for trolls. The actress gets under the radar for even her harmless statements. Recently, something similar happened to her after she quoted her height in an Ask Me Anything session on social media.

Taking to her official Instagram handle, Alia Bhatt conducted a a QnA session to interact with her fans and followers. During the session, a user asked the National award-winning actress to reveal her actual height. Responding to the same, she quoted her height to be 164 cm which is roughly estimated to be 5 feet 4 inch (5’4).
Soon after, a Reddit user dropped a screenshot of Alia’s IG story which led to a debate around her real height. A section of netizens got irked about the ‘Highway’ actress’ exaggerated claim regarding her height. A user wrote, “Why can’t she embrace her height? It’s so obvious, she’s very short, around 5’1 probably.” Another stated, “Even Kiara who is 5’2 looks taller than Alia. She is just 5’1.” A third one penned, “She has always been insecure about her height. So, maybe she wants to spend this lie.” “Ye jhoothi ye makkar. They asked her height not height + 7 inch ka stool,” joked a user.
