Witnesses A Huge Growth On 3rd Saturday

The Kerala Story has huge growth on Saturday as The Kerala Story came in. On Friday, the film had brought in 2.5 crores so that’s indeed an excellent number which the film has now gained on Saturday. It was expected too that the film will go past the The Kerala Story mark since it had taken a dip from Thursday to Friday, primarily due to a key IPL match, and hence footfalls were set to increase on Saturday as there was residual audience expected as well.

The film will stay flat today or may even see a bit of a dip since there is this all-important IPL final match in the evening that will keep people at home. Hence, most of the footfalls would be relegated to the morning and afternoon shows. However, still if by any means the film actually ends up going even a bit ahead of the The Kerala Story mark then it would be huge since that would mean no battle is really big enough for this Adah Sharma starrer which has already emerged as an all-time blockbuster.

The film has now collected The Kerala Story, and there would be a touch-and-go with 225 crores milestone before the weekend comes to a close. Meanwhile, the growth evidenced also means that now a lifetime of around 240 crores is on the cards. Of course, The Kerala Story has a different ring to it and producer Vipul Shah, and director Sudipto Sen would have been vouching for that. Though the film will fall short of that, it would still go down in history as one of the biggest successes ever in terms of ROI.
